The School’s Alumni Polo Association, Ltd. (SAPA) was created by Mike Hobday, Head of Universities at SUPA, Charles Betz, Chairman of SUPA and Lucy Northmore.
The first official meeting between Schools and Universities Polo Association Ltd (SUPA) and Sapa's founders was held on the 19th October 2007 where the formation and need of an alumni association was recognised and agreed.
SAPA received Hurlingham Polo Association (HPA), endorsement as an affiliated polo association of SUPA Ltd on 29th January 2008.
SAPA was announced to University players at the final of the La Martina National University Arena Polo Championships on the 10th February 2008 to the delight of over 200 students – a large proportion of whom will now be able to continue with polo when graduating from University.
SAPA was launched officially in March 2008 .
